I could literally give u a massive, detailed essay of 0.0 Alliance history from 2003 to around 2006/7. i left the game i think before they died. they were raped and bullied by practically everyone till their removal in.2004?) FIX betrayed them and took querious, survived a few years, became favoured holiday targets for me and my corp inbetween contracts, they became BoB pawns. its tragic such a bunch of incompetent carebears as the NC still exist from the last days i played some 4 or 5 years ago, let alone that theyve actually taken space in the south.īack in my day Querious was CFS (the first to pioneer 'free space' principles. People talking about querious being owned by the NC. Before people just cap spammed at ur 5man gang. It was a place where dreams could come true. when there were only 3000 people on peak time. U should of been around back when i played. Almost any ship can be effectively equipped for tackling so its something you should always be alert of, before engaging in a fight. To prevent tackling (Warp scrambler and Webbers) pretty much your only option is to: destroy the enemy, keep out of range, jamming and/or use Warp Core Stabilisers. Then there is the other Electronic Weapons which are pretty self explanatory. The 5th defence is a multi purpose defence system which is good if you are constantly changing ships but its not specialised for any ship type so its weaker. For example: Gravimetric defences are effective only for Gravimetric ships (mostly Caldari ships). 4/5 of them are effective for one type of ship class only. Both defence types (ECCM and Sensor Arrays) have 5 main sub defences. Sensor arrays are passive, are less effective but do not use up capacitor. ECCM's use up capacitor and are more effective. There are two types of jamming defences: ECCM and Sensor Arrays. I worked out jamming defences (correct me if I'm wrong) took a while but its pretty simple now: If I wanted to specialise in battle ship weapons, I would need light ship support, to defend me against smaller ships that could avoid my weapons. In one vs one, is that a wise choice? It sounds logical to me. So is it wise in a pvp situation, one vs one, to be prepared for any type of enemy ship size, speed and strength? In other words, you abandon specialisation for more flexibility against different targets. Large projectile weapons might miss small ships but hit larger slower ships. Weapons are designed to be suitable against different types of targets, i.e.: heavy launchers are effective against cruisers and above, but not against small ships like frigates. Is it a better plan to just shoot the target instead. What feasible defences are available against Webifiers, Warp Scramblers and Warp Disrupters. Is jamming the enemy a feasible method of jamming defence? i.e.: if I jam them, they cannot jam me (again against different types of ships). What is the best way to prevent jamming from different types of ships? i.e.: You don't know what type of ship may jam you in the future, so what do you do to prepare for that?
