is difficult, it's hard to make it work, but I can still stay I'm not a fan of the changes. It's probably not like that for mages or warriors, but as an archer it's really noticeable. in a way that didn't really work out that well for all classes. I don't expect much of my enemies, but insta-teleporting 5m away from arrows when they don't even see me, way faster than they could ever run, them running after arrows instead of the direction they were shot from, them running into walls instead of properly hiding when they can't get to me, them running into spiky things when they can't get to me, them running INTO me in sneak mode and not reacting, are all a tiny bit. I'm playing a sneaky archer, and there were so many moments I was like, that can't be real. has actually gotten worse in the DLC added version than before, making the A.I. Watch out, unpopular opinion: I think the A.I. Forgot the bit where I mentioned it's my favourite RPG, not Witcher 3? ) That being said, I agree graphics don't make the game. But that's memory for you, can't trust that human brain. (Witcher 3 almost killed my PC, even on really low settings) I was still a bit shocked when I first played it again, having forgotten that the graphics are a bit outdated. I for one am glad the graphics weren't updated too much (there's mods for that), as I wouldn't have been able to play it then. It did came out 2019, so it us fair to judge it among all the other games graphics who came out around then. but the world is handcrafted and virtually every item is handplaced unlike skyrim. The level of detail and realism is crazy. The setting isnt everyones cup of tea tough but after playing for a few hours youll get used to it. its also refreshingly challengeing at some points. that game is the biggest immersion rpg of the past 5 years easyly. the main character is fixed there aswell like witcher but oh boy. makeing a new ai is really really hard for modders to this date as it requires A TON of work.Īlso if you never played "i feel quite hungry" deliverance go ahead and do so once all the dlc is out. but if the cake tastes like shit no amount of iceing will safe it. the moment you put graphics above gameplay in an rpg youre setting the game up to fail. this is just a rerelease with dlc stuff added. To be fair here dude enderal didnt come out in 2019. So yes, it's not perfect, but for someone who loves great characters and storytelling, this game is perfect. You can tell with how much love this game has been built. The quests are also really good for the most part, and they tend to follow the same principe of W3: There's no easy good or bad solution, just something with good and bad consequences. It makes it worth it to explore the world. I adore the story where I couldn't see the outcome, I love the world it's built in with all its small stories hidden everywhere, in every dungeon. I love the NPCs, they are really fleshed out and glorios in their imperfections, like Jespar who's commitment-shy and cynical, but develops over the course of the story so much, or Firespark, who's so grumpy but obviously caring. However, Enderal still happens to be my favourite RPG, besides all that. The gameplay isn't perfect, it's occasionally buggy due to the new release, and the A.I. It is, however, a game based on an older engine, and even if the graphics are better than in vanilla Skyrim, the graphics are quite old-dated for 2019. (I like to connect with my playing character, and sometimes that's a bit hard to do if I don't really like the playing character) I can completely play my own character in Enderal, instead of my own version of Geralt. I also played Skyrim, Oblivion and a couple other RPGs I can't think of right now.Īnd honestly, I liked Enderal better than Witcher 3, because the main character isn't already given. So, I never played Kingdom Come Deliverance, but I did play Witcher 3.
